presentation We Got to Move

When to present a book about social innovation with as one of its most central themes the fact that you should always keep moving and keep changing and innovating? A book like that is never finished. And yet it was on Thursday 13 July when Hans de Bruin presented the online book ‘We Got to Move’.

Social Theory

We got to move gives hands and feet to the Social Theory which lies at the basis of a large part of what we do at the Solidarity University. In the book you will find an extensive explanation of the Social Theory and how it can be applied to all kinds of ‘wicked problems’ (and why you would want to do so – and even should do so). It is an online book and that means you can read it every which way you like and in the order that works for you.

Presentation
During a well-attended presentation both Hans’ colleagues and Hans himself spoke extensively. This gave a pretty comprehensive impression of how the book was made. We would like to thank everyone who was present for coming to the presentation. And of course we wish, above all, that you will read the book.

Facilitator’s guide
In addition to the book, a printed guide was presented. This Facilitator’s Guide carries the subtitle ‘Approach, tips and tools to facilitate broadly supported change processes for social challenges’ (translated from Dutch). This practical guide is aimed at professionals and offers various practical angles as well as helpful advice. The English-language version of the guide will soon be available in print and online.
